Mike McKenna - Runner #06

Favorite RTB Memory: There are many. But the one that tops them all is realizing in 2007 that not only were we pacing ahead of our wildest dreams, but that we were completely pwning our friendly foes, Team Motherhaus.

Worst memory: Waiting years on end to enjoy the sweet comfortable expanses of Kingston State Park, only to be re-routed to a lousy concrete slab at a high school.

Greatest asset: I bring some serious spirit, energy and dance skillz to the course. I not only get my teammates jazzed up and ready to roll, but I also help other struggling non-runners like myself make it through brualities like the Kancamagus.

Comments/Thoughts: When I think of Reach the beach, I think of running at odd hours, twilight, dawn, bats fluttering about, pouring rain, boy scout troops, being annoyed by serious, superb runners, barbequed chicken, and people like Murph, Steve McKenna, Mike Enos Sr., and Bob Powell sneaking ice cold refreshments into Hampton Beach State Park for their favorite team.
