Leah McKenna - Runner #06

Leah McKennaRTB History: 2005 (Leg #6), 2006 (Leg #6), 2007 (Leg #8), 2008 (Leg #2)

Favorite Memory: I have a couple. Seeing Bobby smoke everyone up and down Bretton Woods our first year. Dancing on the side of the street cheering while Enos put a beat down on the Kancamagus. It is so cool to see your teammates do so well. Also, the finish line every year! I still get choked up.

Worst Memory: The pit in my stomach as we drove all the way back to Sarah's start because it had been too long and we hadn't seen her yet. We then drove about 51/2 miles ahead to finally find her. Worst team support ever!

Greatest asset: I can duck tape injuries! I guess I could also say that I can successfully organize a 12 member roster for RTB. I am going on 5 years now. Hopefully this one is as successful!

Comments: This is the best running event I have ever experienced. Usually running is an individual sport, but here it is completely a team event. It is so much more than just a race. It is like Survivor Man meets Runners World! (well kind of)

Bring it! What?! We Right Here!

    Cheer Us On!
