Bobby Ewell - Runner #07

Bobby EwellRTB History: 2005 (Leg #1), 2006 (Leg #1), 2007 (Leg #7), 2008 (Leg #8)

Favorite RTB Memory: Watching the sunrise on Leg 25

Worst RTB Memory: Dunkin Donuts closing at midnight

Your greatest asset to the team: My favorite breakfast food is hills.

Comments/Quotes/Miscellaneous Thoughts: I keep with me the glory of opening the second day, of running with the rising of the sun - and it's all about moving us that much closer to the beach, fighting through those hills because you know your teammates are going to do the same. I keep with me the pain of that first leg, climibing into the van with brittle legs, seeing Ainsley at the finish line, cheering on Erin . This isn't your marriage or the birth of your kids, but it's fairly monumental for something you plan out and do every year. Through all of the smells and the stumbles, the lack of sleep, the wet sneakers, the waiting, it's all about team. This is a rare and beautiful thing, and I hope we do it until our bodies fail us and we head up to heaven to chat with God about RTB.

    Cheer Us On!
